Some are made of <em>spungone<\/em>, a calcareous stone from the Romagna Apennines confirming the relationships between the cultural heritage and the territory.<\/p>&#13;\n&#13;\n<p>The carving depicting Original Sin, originally from a pluteus or low wall in the basilica of Sant\u2019Apollinare Nuovo in Ravenna, was recycled as a tombstone during the nineteenth century. The calcareous stone cross (10th-11th century) originally stood on the parvis of the church of Sant\u2019Antonino on the Via Emilia in Faenza, indicating the church to pilgrims. The <em>Agnus Dei<\/em> is carved into one side of the intersection of the beams and the Divine Blessing Hand onto the other.
