{"id":7790,"date":"2024-12-11T13:00:33","date_gmt":"2024-12-11T12:00:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.pinacotecafaenza.it\/?post_type=opera&#038;p=7790"},"modified":"2026-02-06T14:24:31","modified_gmt":"2026-02-06T13:24:31","slug":"st-francis","status":"publish","type":"opera","link":"https:\/\/www.pinacotecafaenza.it\/en\/opera\/st-francis\/","title":{"rendered":"St. Francis"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The painting is paired with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pinacotecafaenza.it\/en\/opera\/st-roch\/\"><em>St. Roch<\/em><\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pinacotecafaenza.it\/en\/opera\/st-george\/\"><em>St. George<\/em><\/a><\/p>\n<p>These three panels originally belonged to a single polyptych, which was probably on two registers because the dimensions of the panel with St. Francis, smaller than the other two, seem to suggest that it stood on a hypothetical upper register.<\/p>\n<p>The painter\u2019s identity is unknown.
